The Capital City Half Marathon partners with a variety of training groups that will help you prepare for the Half Marathon (13.1 miles), Patrón Quarter Marathon (6.2 miles) or Commit To Be Fit 5K (3.1 miles).
Marathoner In Training is an official Half Marathon Training Program of the Capital City Half Marathon. Have you always wanted to run a half marathon? Are you looking to set a new PR?
MIT will teach you about running or walking in cool and cold weather, nutrition, goal setting, how to avoid injury, pacing, and much more. The MIT program will allow you to run comfortably without spending a great deal of time training or recovering! This training program is designed to prepare you for your best or your first half marathon — the proper way! You will be given a training plan to follow that will get you to the finish line healthy and happy! MIT's goal is to motivate, inform, and get you addicted to running/walking! Though many of our participants will have run before, the program is designed to accommodate all skill levels! So let's go! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program is thrilled to be an official charity of the Capital City Half Marathon!
